from what i've read (all over the internet)... the car always starts in "Normal" mode... there's not preset to keep it in any other mode when you start the car...

i'm not sure why people have been complaining about pushing a button... i'd rather it start in "Normal" and just push how i feel like driving... but i guess that's just me...
