Hi guys! I'm sure all of you know an issue with external door handlers of Honda CR-Z. I have reverseengineered the door handle. I've sold a few and they work quite well. So now, I ready to offer a stl model of a door handle that can be made using a 3D printer

This looks interesting, but I don't think most of the common home/hobbyist printers can handle those filaments. I know mine doesn't.

That model will need. Some tweaking to work on a CNC... Just for what it's worth.

I afraid, the cost of cnc will be higher than original

Also what about the other part of the handle (the fixed part that bolts to the door). That's what broke on mine and probably many others, the tabs that support the latch mechanism snapped off.

yes, but CNC aluminum will never break.

But will it be worth it? Maybe for some. I think a one time replacement is a great idea.

So 2 pieces would have to made for this to work...The handle assembly would definitely last

Let me clarify, do you mean this?

No, the other exterior part the handle attaches to that supports the latch assembly.

Handles odered by my friends for his car. I'm just experienced in 3d scanning, CAD ets. He use it already half-year. Of course it's quite short period. I'm waiting pictures from him, an then will share here

I've already got some comments from him. Bellow translation his answer
