the last image is the head leading to the 1st-cat... perfect picture to answer the OP's question...


*EDIT* guys it's not that complicated... in some ways it's easier to mount a turbo on this design... you don't have to worry about getting each runner the same etc... if Civic's R18's did it, then the CR-Z will do it too...

I never said it's complicated. Turbocharging is pretty straight forward if you've had any experience with them. And the exhaust manifold (not the 'head') in the pic just shows how easy it'd be to install a turbo.
there isn't a picture of the exhaust manifold anywhere in this thread... this picture is the head on the exhaust side where the cat bolts up to...

i think we had a misunderstanding with the word "integrated"... see i was thinking of that word as meaning what the picture described... and i guess u were thinking that it meant the head and 'header' was all one piece, which obviously isn't the case...

a downpipe with a turbo on the end is for sure possible...
