Hi all,

I own a Honda 2013 Japanese imported CR-Z.

Today I realised the DRL has not been working anymore. I had this external LED strip light installed by someone else for me a few years ago. I decided to change it, cut the cable, and install a new one. After I cut the cable I decide to finish up the next day, the DRL still working.

So I wrapped the red, brown and green cables together with some tape. Today I just realise my DRL is no longer working. My headlight, high beam and signal light are all working fine.

Does anyone know what happened or is the DRL fuse dead?

Thanks in advance.

Did you short those wires together when you wrapped them, maybe they had some bare leads exposed. If so you might have blown a fuse.
Yea

yea they did have bare leads.
Sorry for this dumb question. If I’m replacing a fuse. Which type of fuse I’m going for?

Well you would find the one that's blown and match it. And of course, before replacing the fuse unwrap those wires and separate them so they are no longer shorted together.
Might buy a little circuit breaker to put in the place of the fuse. Then go mess with the wiring and see if you can trip the breaker.
