Hey all,
New here but i have had my crz since the came out last jan.

I recently just notice something, and wondering what it is.

Once in a while i will have this water dripping outta this hose under the engine, its clipped to the side of the underneath.

i called honda and they were not sure who i talked to, they said it was most likely a Drain hose for AC, but since i have not used ac since its cold here, been using defrost he said could be from that also..

anyways any help would be nice i took a pic of it also thanks.

the hose that is sticking out there

Condensation. You're using the A/C even with heat on, that's normal.

It removes humidity from the cabin.

Defrost runs A/C in most modern cars. I'm no expert, but i wouldn't worry. Take it by your dealer next time you get a chance. It will either be "no problem"with an explanation, or a warranty repair.

BTW, welcome to the forum! Stick around.

Many times, using the full automatic climate control will also use the AC, even with heat.

Do NOT tell the dealer about this!

They will want to sell you the "AC condensate drain preventive maintenance" for $159

Welcome!
