So today my blood pressure about doubled trying to replace my door handle. I went to get the screw out that holds the actuator or the white block with two cords right behind the door handle on the inside of the door. It wasn't budging and now it's a little stripped. Pretty sure it's never going to come loose now that it's pretty stripped. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions that might work without stripping it worse?

JIS tipped screwdriver. Not the typical Phillips driver. JIS geometry doesn't cam out, it will bite and rip the head off the screw before it cams out.

One of the best tools you can own for Japanese vehicles. You will stop stripping out screw heads immediately.

If that fails Vessel also makes an impact driver.

And if that fails a nice quality pair of vise grips will easily grab the head of that screw.

And if all of that fails drill the head off and replace the screw.
