The best fix is a complete replacement handle assembly from Honda, as long as they are still available. Comes painted and bolts right in. That said it's been a couple of years since I replaced mine this way so I don't know what the current supply situation is.
At that time I was able to get the part from an online Honda parts dealer for about $120 plus tax/shipping and labor was zero since I changed it myself. A dealer or shop will probably charge 1-2 hours to do it plus the cost of the part which will be the current list price.
