just saw a thread about people complaining about cracked foglight lenses. upon reading it, i remembered a thread on clubrsx providing a good, cheap fix for it.

here's the original post : Club RSX Message Board - View Single Post - Lexan Fog Light Lenses Repair (Pictures)

and here it is quoted from there:

This is a fix for the broken OEM glass lenses, which breaks easily by road rocks.

Lexan XL10, .093 thick. Strong, tough, everlasting.

Home Depots.

It is IMPORTANT that you take out the metal piece. They become hot and melt the plastic. They are there to block the bright light from the side, which is not really necessary.

Do not clean the plastic lenses with Goo-Off or thinner.

Testing the strength of Lexan plastic.

High power BB gun can't break it. Rock chip will no longer be a problem.

Sword chop. No problem.

Can not be bend by bare hands.

This one fix will most likely last forever.
good luck everyone

I did this to my Fit before I traded it in and the dealer did not notice.

I'm not sure what the RSX post says but do not use the hand tool to score and cut the lense it will take forever. Dremel works. So would any other more powerful saw.

I would recommend getting an LED foglight bulb after. I never had the issue but others said that the lexan will brown from halogen bulbs after a while.
