I ran muffler-delete on my Mazda3 for its whole life and I guess I got used to the drone.
It sounded great. I either suffer from a small hearing loss after one week but I think it definitely did get quieter. The noise is dependent on air conditions like temperature and humidity I think. The thing is, with a muffler-delete, there is a drop in back pressure which will impact the car's performance negatively. There's lag in engine response and perhaps a slight drop in power too.
Anyhow, on my list of to-do until I get Noblesse.
