I have just ordered the following UGAR Android 10 head unit.

I would like to know if anyone has managed to swap out the original with such system with all the steering functions intact as well as installation of reverse camera that comes with such systems.

Interested to know the difficulty rating for doing this as a DIY project.

Hey,

1. The reviews of that unit are abysmal, so good luck.
2. Have you heard of the Teyes CC3 - this is what most of the UK guys on the Facebook group are buying now and they look fantastic with a larger 9+ inch screen and a custom trim piece to make it look factory.
3. If you have an OEM reverse camera, you will more than likely not be able to easily use it have to use a standalone reverse camera instead.
4. The steering wheel controls will either be plug and play or require an adapter like you would use for a Pioneer/JVC etc head unit. Matra make several attachment kits for aftermarket radios.
