Interesting. I wonder which came first the failed 12v battery or the P1586 disabling the dc-dc and causing the 12v battery to keel over.
I would try resetting the P1586 with a proper code reader that can talk to the IMA. (HDS clone or equivalent.)
If it persists then you will have to do the IMA current sensor diagnostics and/or possibly replace it.
The IMA and probably the dc-dc as will not work with a faulty current sensor.
