Hello, im new to car things. Im driving a 2012 crz hybrid and i just broke one of my rim. And i thought of changing it to a 17” rim is it ok for me to do that ? Cause my car is non adjustable and i dont know what would it affect. Like do i need to change exhaust bar and all those ?

If u'r wondering how will it looks like here 17" enkei rims with 40/215 tires

if u broken just the wheel, you don't need to worry abt exhaust , just chose the right size (17,18'') width (7,5, 8) and ET 35-45
And enjoy the better view. :)

hope i helped

All CRZs are hybrid lol but you dont have to change anything, as long as you buy a set of 4 wheels with proper offset/sizing and proper tires you can just slap them on your CRZ, get an alignment and boom, good to go.

Rims can also be repaired depending on how damaged they are. Supposedly some wheels will not take the OEM TPMS sensors if you go for a non Honda wheel.

Couldnt take *

  1. Stock the CR-Z was available with 16" or 17" wheels. If you have a damaged rim there are companies that can repair them if you don't want the expense of a set of tires and rims. I have used this company in the past but there are similar everywhere Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists | Premium Wheel Repair
Ahh i see but i tried to look for location but seems like its only available in US but im in malaysia 😅

Similar companies should be available world wide. That wheel should be repairable if you can find a company to do the work either onsite or you ship wheel to them. These kinds of companies I have seen all over the one I posted just happens to be local to me .

The Honda TPMS senors may work with non Honda Wheels but it is something to be aware of. I presume the hole in the rim is a standard just not sure how standard it is.

Are any of these companies near you?

If they are give them a call and or send them pictures of the damage.
