Am I safe in a car with aftermarket carbon fiber doors? I want to lighten the car, but I also don't want to die in a side impact.

PS Without an aftermarket rollcage.

i think Spoon had their last concept with CF door. I know that door will save huge chunk of weight if it was CF.

I wouldn't be caught in a car w/ cf doors as they do not have impact beams. A roll cage with side beams would solve that problem, but you said no cage. its def not safe at all

You need some sort of side protection other than the CF door, maybe if you reconsider the roll cage this would be a good idea
