I received this email a couple weeks ago and forgot to post it. I'll let Julio elaborate on the kit. If there are enough people interested in the kit. I will start making a list.

From Julio @ Bisimoto

I am working out the final logistics of doing a street-able Bisimoto turbo kit for the CRZ with Bisi

The Bisimoto turbo kit will produce 200hp (to the crank). Producing about 171 to the wheels. Will work with factory motor being why it is limited to 200crank hp but will be upgradable for enthusiast who want to build their motors as well. This kit will only be available for stick shift.

Bisimoto will be accepting 75% down starting now. This will get your name reserved on the list. Please call 888-922-6686 if you have any questions reguarding payments or questions in general. There is no deadline for the product at the moment. We will wait until their are 10 confirmed individuals.

Any power figures for the kit?

- Assuming MT only as well.
Way to ruin my savings account

I'm going to let Julio answer this question
i don't think they check the boards too frequently
that big HP number means a lot less with such a drastically lower torque rating. a 14.2 1/4 mile is pretty sad for 533 hp.
that run was in economy mode ;)
Those numbers were because of the traction control staying on the car... Bisi went through the rear rotors after 2 passes because the traction control wasnt turned off causing the rear brakes to apply it self since the car was sensing unstability. It was then realized that the car wasnt performing because the TPMS sensors were not installed in the wheels. Once that was put back in the car he was able to turn it off and the car was making great numbers.

Thank you for your response BST. :hail:
Here's the word from Julio:

The kit would come with 200hp (to the crank). Producing 171 to the wheels. The kit would work with the factory engine which is why the kit is producing 171whp. After 10 people have committed to the purchase, it would take 3 months to produce the kits.
Yeah like 11psi instead of 30
With this kit on how much mpg is the CR-Z getting? Any ideas?
If we can get some detailed information on the kit, I for one would be seriously interested.
at WOT, econ = sport. i guess i can see how TCS can screw with it. still a low torque rating. what good is all that HP without any torque? i'm curious what it ran when you corrected the other issues.

also, that sucks that we can't get the internals. for $5,500 i would expect the top of the line kit. unless your an avid CR-Z enthusiast, save your money and buy a muscle car. that's real power on the cheap. just my opinion though.

I could be wrong but I thought in econ mode the timing setup was a little different for the ecu? You can order the rods from bisimoto. After getting this kit i'm sure you would have to upgrade your turbo and acquire a standalone for serious power. Of course you would need to do the engine work.
at WOT everything runs the same.

I stand corrected then:headbang:
