I know that you need to get this dam bird **** off as soon as possible, I usually just use water. But is there a better way to remove bird crap?

Personally I use optimum opti-cean or meguiars ultimate quick detailer. Both will leave a bit of a coating behind that will stop new poop from sticking, too.

Yea, as long as you have a good wax coating and take care of it the same day, don't see any biggies. But after you get it off, definitely use some detailing wax to reprotect...
