i came up with a non honda part solution.
rally armor flaps..
only you have to figure a bracket like i did.
i only did the fronts i will eventually get to the backs, side note they are a rally style flap so depends on your style i guess.
and the flaps (universal are only about 15 dollars i think..)

I should shoot him a text and see how many people we'd need to have Rally Armor's made for the CR-Z. He test fit the original soft design flaps on my girls WRX.

Yeah I think their both worth it! Every morning when I come home from working a long night shift I came to find that my neighbor's sprinklers run water into the street causing me to drive through the Great Lakes each time causing that awful "dry water splash marks" behind each wheel. Not anymore! Also the body side molding gives me more of a peace of mind whenever I park my car in a public lot. So yeah! It's a non-regretable choice.
I payed $180 total for installation for my oem side molding, oem splash guards, and oem fog lights at a local shop.

I agree... got my car late 2010... and don't have a single ding on the doors, and the paint behind the wheels is in really good shape. All thanks to the moulding and the splash gaurds. (the fact that I also park way out in the parking lot when possible helps.. but that is not always possible!) :)

You are totally lucky.. got my first door ding just last month, not sure where tho. But like you, I do choose where I park but sometimes you just don't have any choice.

+1 on the mudguards. Car came with only the front installed from the dealer, so I had to install the rear ones myself. Did it like the instruction manual says and it wasn't that hard to do.
