Hi guys, as title above I wonder if anyone here has built more than 250WHP? Kindly share what's the recipe to do it. I knew Bisimoto built a decent Z, wondering what are the stuffs in it.

Currently, I'm doing 196+ HP with turbo kit and Hondata tuned. I'm thinking of forged internal and increasing the max RPM to 8K. I found upsized forged piston for LEA15 but I'm not sure if increasing the bore hole diameter would affect the engine reliability dramatically.

*I'm not going for k20a as the cost of the engine and the labour for it is nearly 18k USD in Malaysia.

QuickStudy from the UK built theirs to about 270-300HP with forged internals, no sleeving.

The IMA is your limitation when it comes to increasing the rev limit. Alollini from France has upgraded valve springs and retainers, but was limited by the IMA.

Thailand has done it. Unfortunately the link is in thai language. Mrx performance selling a high compression stroker kit for 60k baht. Maybe u can ask for a low compression stroker kit. On the plus side, the kit is forged.
Pretty sick, but not sure if it's still practical to drive daily. "compression stroker kit" includes piston, rod, crank shaft only? Does it includes the header parts?

I thought IMA would only assist up to 3~4k rpm? Never thought it'll tend to limit the rpm.

Recently, I found one of the local Z owner in Malaysia tuned up to 300HP by gt 28 turbo + forged internal and sleeve, retaining the max rpm 6,300. But I think it's such a waste by keeping such low rpm, I mean the space to bring vtec up is so limited.

Yeap.. seen his built performance curve, GT28 garrett, evo x IC, forged internal, cylinder lining but his rpm remains at 6500 max..

Since I had 25 garrett, I'm thinking to tweak on the headers for higher rpm instead.

Damn, thats a nice build list.

I'm at 220 whp/225 tq without any internal mods and am specifically keeping it there for that reason. As it is I need a clutch and limited slip.

Currently:

Trust/GReddy Turbo Kit w/ intercooler
270cc MDX Injectors
K-Tuner custom flash ('16 ECU is unique)

What's the capacity of stock Injectors?

That HP is pretty decent for a GReddy kit but I believe the clutch slipping badly..

It's quite simple: more boost pressure and an engine that can support it. Check out Bisimoto's build thread... or mine.
I seen your Luna's build, just wondering if GTX28 series or GT28 series suitable for L15a?

My workshop is proposing GT2871/GT2860 to me.
