I'm going to report that I am now a member of the 100,000 mile club (even though I am about 50 miles short). I made fast progress to 80,000 as I was averaging ~25k/yr commute - and getting ~45mpg during that time. But, for the last ~3 years, having changed jobs, I'm down to ~7k/year - and getting ~38mpg.
