Nice car!! You should definitely post up some more pics.

I'm sure it gets wicked hot down there. I recommend the weathertech windshield sun shade. Worth its weight in gold if you live somewhere hot. Only telling you that because I love mine so much during the summer months. Keeps the car under 160 degrees. LOL!

or The Shade from Dash Designs ( https://www.dashdesigns.com/p-37139-...ble-shade.html) which is what I have and it requires no storage it self stores on the windshield and I use it every time I park.

Just use something. I lived in Austin TX area for 13 months and boy does it get hot! The Speed Bump is black though.

Hello and welcome fellow autocrosser and Texan.

Where are you located if you don't mind me asking? I'm Houston based and usually run with or hang out with the local BMW & Porsche club autocrossers.

I live in Helotes, barely outside NW San Antonio. I run with the SASCA, real good guys. I intend to take the CR-Z the little baby electric motor should make it interesting in STS

Thanks brother, people usually don't like C4's but it's the first version of the Corvette that was a true sports car, i'm not saying buy one but if you ever get the chance to drive a early Z51 C4 on a track/autox do it! it's a fantastic handling car and the down low torque makes it feel much faster than it actually is.
