Hello I just recently bought my CR-Z about a month and a half ago and I’ve been loving it. I’m use to bigger engines and RWD so this was a weird change for me, but I like it! I didn’t even think I was going to pick this thing up considering I reallyyyy want a manual G35 coupe but for the price, year, miles and gas mileage (considering I drive about 30 miles round trip for work everyday) on the Z I couldn’t pass it up. So far I haven’t done anything to it but I have a roof rack with fairing on the way and tires will be put on tomorrow! I went full send with some Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R in a 205/50R16, I work for Firestone so $340 for all 4 tires I couldn’t pass up!

Welcome! I just installed some re71r over the weekend, and they liven up the car incredibly. So far, as long as I'm cruising on the back highway at 55, they don't kill my mpg. They do make a lot of noise from the rocks that kick into the wheelwells.

The temptation to feel the full pull has hurt my mpg in city driving.

haven't taken to the interstate yet...

Welcome! I definitely like the wheels. I am the complete opposite. I have been running FWD 4 bangers my entire life. Went from a 99 accord to a n 07 civic hybrid to an 06 corolla and then to the CR-Z. I later bought a Mustang EcoBoost. The little 4 banger turbo is tons of fun to drive (310 HP stock) and gets great gas mileage (22/31). I treat the Z as a fun daily car and the EcoBoost as a fun weekend car.
