Raise your hand if you suspected that in the absolutely unprecedented panicked scramble to get these things replaced that there might be some sort of quality/safety oversight on the replacement manufacture leading to just as unsafe replacements.

I just pray that Takata doesn't have to recall all their airbags.

At least those "certain wheels" mean my 2016 isn't included in the recall... But my other two er... one still is. I need to get it checked soon.

Okay guys,

I tested the Takata 2.0 airbag (after the first recall), and you can be re-assured they won't blow your face off.

Trust me. I mean, mine did burn the honda symbol on my arm, but, apparently this is normal (according to Honda rep).

Your faces will remain intact however.

My only problem, is that after seeing your "H" tattoo, I catch myself driving with my wrist in perfect alignment to make the "H" imprint not so crooked as yours. Hope I don't hit a telephone pole by honoring form over function.

Hahaha.. whats hilarious is when I called them and told them (just for laughs).

They said: 'Well, did you follow the hand position guide in the owner manual'.

Hilarious I thought.

Please take the airbag recall seriously...

This is so bad and sad:
Statement from American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Re: Confirmed Rupture of Defective Takata Airbag Inflator in Buckeye, AZ: March 29, 2019 | Honda Airbag Info

While my 2016 CRZ has not been included in the recall, you just have to wonder why not and is there an undiscovered scenario still out there.

Yeah, wish I still had my no-airbag 1989 Supra.
