You need some jack stands, at the minimum. I've got an extra set if you want me to bring them down to the Tail of the Dragon this Summer.

This the best option. I don't know if they are safe or not but I have seen really good prices on a shop jack and Jack Stands at Harbor freight if you can't wait till the dragon.

I can't even wait the day as I am likely going to just take it to a muffler shop where I had the stock muffler removed at. Shouldn't cost too much (I hope).

Found a shop, $100 less and its installed...

Initial impressions, way quieter than the stock muffler delete I was running and I lost the exhaust pops but it's a deeper tone and comes across more "refined" vs the "raw" feeling I had with the de-muffler.
Maybe a downpipe will give me a little more volume and pops back? I do like it otherwise despite the loss of the pops.

I'll vouch for the Harbor Freight jack stands. The steel-body low profile floor jack is nice too.

I've had my excursion up on harbor freight jack stands without any issues. almost 4 tons with stuff in it.

+1 for the stands and jack, add in a pair of ramps and wheel chocks. That entire package can be had for under $200 and you have all you need. Think of it as an investment. Great to have for swapping wheels, brake work, oil changes...
