Visual difference of base and EX '13-'15

What's a simple visual cue what model 2013-2015 CR-Z you are looking at, base or EX, without actually seeing the specs?

Fog lights for outside, subwoofer box in trunk and side mirror defrost icon, AUTO headlight stalk are a few that come to mind. Not very easy to spot in any listings, however. Fog lights are an accessory that even the base model can have as well.

EX 13 adds LED Daylight Running lights instead of using the headlights and I believe you get HID instead of Halogen for low beams. If you look close you can see the LED strips. Hope this helps.

leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter (shifter maybe only on stick shift)

I'm not certain about 2013-2015, but on 2011, the aluminum "racing style" pedals instead of the plain plastic ones.

I'm looking at the forum title graphic and can see the LED strip across the left most car!

I can confirm my 13 EX ( no Navigation) has the metal pedals.

Yes, if you're shopping for a replacement and are fussy (dumb) enough to insist on a full-boat with navigation, it's a real pain in the ass. And no, the dealer can't tell you what he's selling. Sometimes a VIN check will tell you if it's an LX, EX, Or EX-L.... but not always.

And I think it gets worse if you look at '16s, while trying to keep a glimpse of those wheels from polluting your retinas.
