I'm with you on the logic behind this but I would have to buy 2. I'm not patient enough to let the one dry before re-installing it. Besides, I like the charcoal/carbon infused filters, and they're cheap enough.

Dropping the car off t0day after work to have coilovers done tomorrow. Might be getting picked up in a lowered 2017 5.0 Mustang or a white Z with HPD exhaust. Gonna be nothing but fun times when everything is done tomorrow...

I've decided that when the underbody panel comes in, I'm going to use Eneos 0w-20 full synthetic oil and Honda genuine cvt fluid for the fluid change. I took a peek in the engine bay and the inline CVT filter looks like it should be fairly easy to access with the plastic underbody panels off. Hopefully the panel comes in before the maintenance minder tells me I'm past due for service.

Coilovers are done... Ride was very harsh on the way home. Made some adjustments to the dampening at home. One side of the front was set all the way to harsh and the other was set to soft. Set both sides to 7 clicks from the harshest for the front and rear. Tires rub on the edge during harsh turns, braking and bumps. Going back on Wed so they can make further adjustments to alignment. 1.5 inch drop is as high as they could get coilovers to. Despite the harsh ride, car handles very well around turns. Total was $575 for the install and alignment. I get to drive the twisties to work tomorrow on an empty road. This is the alignment so far.

Took 193 Georgetown pike into work this morning. SOOOO many twisties and SOOOO much fun. Rides much better since I corrected the dampening on all 4 shocks. Car feels more confident around turns. Can'r wait to take it out on the Dragon. Gonna be so much fun.

Thanks. I still need to get a realignment done on Wednesday. Tires are rubbing on the outer edge on the front tires. Other then that the car handles great and glides around the turns

Looks like my front bumper has some significant scratches on the underside. Possibly from going up some steep inclines with the coilovers. Looking to get a replacement bumper down the road. My choices are to get an OEM for about $250 + pint and install labor or a C-west with fog mounts for $931 + paint and labor. Bumper is still attached to the car so I'm not in a rush to fix it. Possibly I'll do that sometime before the Dragon meet and Hondafest.

Drove up next to a Civic coupe that had open headers and straight pipe exhaust. Thing was LOUD!!! Told the guy that his car was loud. His response... That's what the highway patrolman said also... Thought my car was loud with the HPD+ Tegiwa downpipe. His exhaust makes mine sound like a mouse... Now the EcoBoost however...
