Small photo update - Ralph is doing well this winter. The new winter tires I have this year (General Altimax Artic) are doing better in slush than what I had for the last four winters (Blizzaks). This photo was taken during a bout of wintry mix - aka snow plus freezing rain.

Blizzaks are great when new but rather quickly wear off the super grippy silica and turn into just really good all seasons. As opposed to the Arctics which should do well for you as dedicated winter tires.

The Advans went back on this weekend. Seems like spring is finally here to stay. I have gotten my JDP carbon rear spoiler and rear diffuser clear coated but there’s tons of particles and fibers in the clear coat... ****ty job. Looking to have it redone else where Can’t wait to get those pieces on though.

I have a JDP Carbon front spoiler but it’s plastidipped over and falling apart. Currently seeking new front spoiler options. Looking at knock off Mugen (bayson r) or knock off JDP (carbon creations) on eBay.

Looks great!! How deep does the paint look now?

I keep thinking I should just pay for it instead of spending the 8+ hours doing it myself. But.. I have all the hardware, and its kinda fun. I just need somewhere I can wash / pull it inside. Which I don't have right now.

Should take some more pics of how reflective the paint came out.

Do you know what products they used?

I need to badly do my new car. Hopefully soon. If the weather ever cooperates.

By detailed I meant just a wash and wax, happened to be by professionals.

I did have it 2-step paint corrected last year and ceramic coated in G-Technique brand (spelling?).

So its a nice spring day and Im checking the fuses on the white CRZ which has been randomly shutting off since September. I also randomly have no accessories when it decides it doesnt want to run; cant even use my key fob to unlock it. First thing I notice is one fuse is half hanging out. Also one prong is about to fall off. I look on the chart and its for radio, which would explain the no accessories.

I dont have any 7.5 mA fuses so Im running down to the auto parts store... God if this was it the whole time that would be a fu***ng miracle. Trying to not get my hopes up though...

Edit: Just had a thought/question. If a fuse isnt seated properly could that cause something electrical to fry out? The point of fuses is for them to fry first, right? *not electrically inclined*

I wouldn't get your hopes too high. usually a fuse blows because of a fault. if the fuse is mis-seated so that it bridges both contacts with a blade of the fuse then yes, it could blow accessories out, but I don't think that's physically possible with this style of fuse mount.

If it's killing the radio fuse, I'd start looking at all the aftermarket components. from what I think you've posted in teh past about this car here and on facebook, it looks like a lot of **** was hacked up on the installs from a previous owner.

So the 7.5 I bought wasnt pushing in all the way. I pull the 7.5 in the next spot over and ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A MINI FUSE. What the ****. The wrong size has been in there this whole time, it has rust on it and one leg is about to break off. Yes Im hoping for no shorts but at least that would give me a lead!

Ok back to go buy the proper sized fuse...
