Actually, I was at the dealership when I overheard someone in the service dept. mention to another employee that "parts manager" will not sign off on the parts and we have to get the owner(?) involved, and he's on vacation....blah, blah, blah, of which I nicely interrupted the flow of their conversation with something like, "no, I signed off to get the job done in less than three visits, preferably only one, so you guys take care of your in-fighting with the bean counters, and go ahead and order the parts the Tech needs to fix it, please."
Makes me wonder what will happen down the road when they run out of the parts for these. Ouch..

Wish I could afford to install one on my new car. Still have yet to even ride in a crz that is supercharged!

Where did you end up having it installed? I remember you asking, but don't recall where you ended up.

If you had it done at King, talk to Scott. If you didn't, I'd still have them take a look.

Fellow Drivers,
Thanks for the advice and links! Itís great to hear about otherís experiences.

To Crash: I had the HPD supercharger installed by King Motorsports, working with Scott. I am happy with King- they charged me for the replacement belt, but none of the labor involved in the return visits... seems fair to me. My sense is that they were willing to put a kit (which sat on a shelf for 5+ years) into a 2011 CR-Z with 100k miles. There is just no way I could have done this myself. I was excited when I heard about the kit, then bummed when the dealer said it was no longer available. Excited again when it all came together, bummed each time the squealing starts, excited when all is good again. An emotional roller coaster to be sure. I posted the question in hopes that I could provide Scott and the team some suggestions if things go sour again. I am very very grateful to you and others on this forum for all the help and guidance getting my CR-Z ďthe way it was meant to beĒ and I donít regret the journey. I may be the last one to be able to get a HPD supercharger kit... #027 for what itís worth.

Thanks again to all!

I humbly amend my earlier comments. At least they're giving you good faith/warranty service. I had assumed you were having to pay each time. Hope the links that were provided help to solve your issue.
