Red face Trying to make my CRZ CRAZY

I'm new to the forum and was just wondering what aftermarket parts should I get. I have a blue 2013 CRZ with a CTV Tran and its all stock. Just asking what new exhausts, LED lights, air intakes, and exterior mods I should get. Price really doesn't matter.

Welcome to the Forum! I've got a 2013 also (also known as ZF2, and ZF1 is referring to the 2011-2012 model years.) Is yours a CVT or 6-Speed? You might check out my Build Thread, as I may have some links on the 1st page to some of the mods I put on (installation/impressions.)
You might get confused, because I have a CVT, and some of the later posts are with a 6-Speed, an addition to the family--so I have both. Check out other build threads too, but spend some time seeing what others have done (and what they ended up with.)

I prefer Mugen parts:

Kamispeed is a good source of various parts, and great customer service:

Here's a link to Spoon parts source (since you say money is no object)
https://www.gotuning.com/index.php?fPath=CR-Z

Other unique part can be sourced through japanparts:

Once you think you have a list or desired part(s) you want to get, then we can comment on the pros and cons from our own perspectives.

Welcome to the forum ! If I were you, I’d go thru other build threads before dumping money on your CRZ. Everyone has a different definition of “CRAZINESS”...

So many decisions, so little time, so much money! Intake filter options? Takeda, Mugen, K&N, others. Intake manifold? Check out the Fit GE8/Spoon or Golden Eagle. LEDs? Diode Dynamics, eBay, local parts stores. Exhausts, wheels, spoilers, everyone has their own tastes, ideas and budgets. So yeah, start with looking at some build threads. And welcome!

For what it's worth, my first pick for intake filter kit/assembly was the Mugen, but I thought it was ridiculously expensive...ended up putting on various other intakes, and yeah, wasting money on parts that I sold for 1/2 the initial purchase price, just to finally get and keep the MUGEN.

A Z can't be made very crazy. You're better-off to begin with another, more tuner-popular car rather than spending money and frustration on trying to make a killer Z.

While there are some mods that can be done to make the CVT CRZ more spunky, it will never be on the same level as some of these performance cars. My EcoBoost mustang for instance has 310 HP stock with a turbo. Some of the S550 GT's are pushing 800+ HP with twin turbos. The CVT is the bottleneck in this case. Hondata did some testing and found Honda CVT's began to see scoring of the metal band at around 220+ HP. If you do a sprintex supercharger, CAI, bored throttle body and bigger injectors, you can probably push the car to about 150-170 crank HP (tuned). Add a healthy amount of suspension mods and the car will handle like a dream on the twisties.
