PITTSBURGH- route 51 South

Finally spotted my first CR-Z in Pittsburgh other than my own reflection...looked to be a stock Black Z parked on southbound side of route 51 near Century III around 6:30pm....Looked like mine but yours still has the badges of CR-Z and Hybrid on back....mine does not.........Was this you???

hmmm, it wasn't me but I live about a mile north of that area and I have seen another black one around there a couple times.

This guy was just south of the clover leaf..near the veterans donation center area....you may be seeing either me or this guy then if you live near by....we must live pretty near each other if you are only a mile north of there...what mods have you done if any and are you planning?

I think I've seen it parked there a couple times too.

I've done a lot of little mods, nothing major - you can read all of them in my "garage". Right now, I'm still waiting on my OEM wind deflectors to show up (been waiting over 3 months now ). After that, I might get some Lamin-X covers on the headlights/fogs and I have to get some new wheels with summer tires by next March.

You will probably know its me if you see lights in the rear bumper or DRLs that are more white than gold.

So far I have debadged the CR-Z and Hybrid emblems off the back, just installed my window rain deflectors tonight, am waiting for my K&N Typhoon short ram intake to get here, and a black carpet dash mat to help cut the terrible glare problem I was having. I am also in search of summer tires/wheels for spring....have a few that I like, but nothing decided on yet....Do you have you combo picked out yet?

I am south of there (Fayette County and drive silver), but it's nice to see someone local on the Was That You section.

I always have my scanner on for other CR-Z's.....It seems it will be a pretty cold day when I pull into a parking lot and park next to another -Z.....won't count it out though, seems to be a few of us in the area now so anything is possible....

I see them here and there. There's one of each color in my area, except for the silver, another girl has one. There's a white one in little Washington and a silver one in Greensburg too.

I do notice, every CR-Z I've seen in a parking lot, it's always all by itself. It seems that all of us stay away from crowded parked cars.

I'm leaning toward 17" Enkei STR5 wheels with Continental ExtremeContact DW tires but I also like the Enkei T-Forks; I should probably venture beyond TireRackcom before I decide though
