Default Milwaukee area - who are all of you?!

I've seen a surprising amount of other CR-Z's in and around Milwaukee. I don't remember many specifics but I do know that I've seen a silver one in the Brookfield area, a red one on hwy, and a couple others.

I'm either seeing the same few a couple of times per week or seeing a whole bunch. I hope it's the latter!

Most notably, I've been at Scott E's on Beloit and have parked by a white one a couple of times. An employee or just someone who likes to drink as much as my friends and I?

I'll be leaving town next week but thought I might try to see if anyone is around here.

I'm in Kenosha. as far as I know there are not many at all. I tend to hang out in Chicago as there are more meets and shows.

Hah! To put it into perspective, I saw two yesterday downtown. Red and silver.

Far more than in Orlando, where I'd see the same two but rarely any others.

Default Any MKE CRZers feel the need for AX speed?

I continue to look for a Wisconsin CRZer to come out to a Milwaukee autocross (AX) "parking lot" race. I am a 1st gen CVT Insight autocrosser in H-Stock (HS) street tire class that needs about 3 seconds to beat Minis and Mazda 3s. I think a CRZ should be able to do it, but I need to do some "test drives". I actually prefer a CVT to keep spouse happy... I can see getting a CRZ if I am confident it will be competitive.

If you (meaning anyone in the general vicinity of Milwaukee) might be interested in getting out to a Milwaukee SCCA event with your CRZ, please get in touch. We can co-drive. I'll pay your entry and can probably supply a helmet (if mine fit). I can teach you the basics of AX driving and show you what your car can do. Unless you have AX tires (direzza or azenis, for example), it might be hard to get a 1st. But it should only be 2 or so seconds out in HS street (a remote possibility is I might be able to find some loaner AX tires for the day...)

Upcoming MKE SCCA events are Aug 12 and 26. There are also WAI events which may be an option. In fact, there is one this Sunday (Aug 5th) that I plan to be at.

It would be fun!

When I was up there I stopped to watch some at Miller Park one day... I might have participated had I thought about it. I have a bunch of friends with RSXs that do it in Orlando and nearby. I live in Miami now, though, otherwise I'd take you up on it!

Now, to find when the Miami events are... All of the websites are so out of date.

I'll probably be looking at a Miata soon enough, though.

I'm in Brookfield. Drive a NSBP CRZ. Not much done yet, just a Black Label Fab intake and have the BLF exhaust on order.

bluesight, I would be interested in doing an AX or if anything tearing up some corners on the street (controlled environment would be much safer). I have a helmet that I use for snowmobiling. Would that work? It would be fun to do. I have a 6mt CRZ. With the IMA motor giving the instant torque, could make for a fun trip around the course. Now, if I had smaller feet, I could actually pull of a heel toe.
