'11 EX Bought Sunday

I just bought a MR 6MT '11 EX on Easter. Previous owner ordered it from the factory. Be prepared I will probably have a lot of questions to ask. I have been on this forum a lot learning about this car since a couple days before I bought it. There's a lot of active members, I love it.

Welcome! It is very rare that a CR-Z was ordered direct from the factory. Most of them are ordered by the dealer and you are lucky if you can get the options you want let alone the color.

I look forward to finding out all about you and yours and what you plan to do to it to make it unique!

and BTW

Since it is a 2011 I hope the Air bag recall was done see Honda CR-Z Takata Airbag Recall and if it has it's original under hood battery consider either load testing it or having it replaced. There are many threads about this.

Just realized I posted in the wrong place. I was looking at wheel stuff and must have posted here instead of the new people one. Here are the pictures anyways.

Yes according to the previous owner he ordered it from the factory. He said his name was on the car before it was built. But oh well, it doesn't matter to me if he got it from the factory or the dealer, I have it now.
Also thanks for the heads up about the airbag and the battery. I already have an appointment with Honda for the airbag recall. I'll have to check out my battery.

I am glad I could give you a heads up on a few things. As far as the battery is concerned it is probably best to just replace it. Car looks really good. I wish you many miles of smiles.

As part of the airbag recall you are entitled to a loaner or rental paid for by Honda. There are many of us who waited months for the recall to be done. Some of us took our cars home so we could maintain the IMA battery, others left the car with the dealer and a third group got lucky and the replacement was done quickly. I hope you are in this third group. I am surprised it had not already been done. The thread I pointed you to has the good , the bad, and the ugly. Some members have just removed the bag on the drivers side, others waited.

Actually me thinks it very important he ordered it from the factory.

Otherwise you would have ended up with Crystal Black Pearl instead of that awesome red!
