Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks for the information; this site is an absolute treasure trove. After searching, and reading about the first 10 pages of this thread, I think I have my answer but I was hoping to pick some of the pro's brains on my prospective setup:

Wheel Size [F/R]: 18 x 7.5 ET 42
Wheel Brand/Type: Buddy Club PF Challenge [White/Blue Pinestripe]

Tire Size: 205/40R18 or 215/45R18 (Only because this is the closest size for Advan Neovas)

I ran the wheel/tire calculator and even the meatier tire seems like it would fit just fine. But since I haven't stumbled across a member with that exact size wheel, I wanted to verify.

My other question relates to BBK clearance. I would ASSUME that a wider and taller wheel, with a more negative offset would give more space for the brake caliper. Am I right to assume this? I don't want to run into issues in the future with a BBK install necessitating new wheels.

In summary:

1. Do you think a 18x7.5 ET42 Buddy Club SF Challenge wheel will fit with no rubbing issues, as well as accommodate a future BBK install?

Best regards,

Reaver

Enkei RPF1

Hello!

Enkei RPF1
17x8 +38
215/45/17 (Rubs on inner fenders at full lock. Not that bad.)

D2 coilovers.
Front fenders rolled.
Rear tabs cut.

*My original photos took too much space. (File was too large).. So the images are a bit blurry.

Thanks!

Hi,

Can you please give me advice if this new wheel setup will be safe for my CR-Z? I am going to buy 7,5x17 ET35 rims with 215/45/r17 tires. The car is completely stock without spacers!

Thanks a lot!

Yes, it will be safe. I'm running on 8,25x17 ET35 rims with 215/40 tires and -35mm lowering with no issues.

Hi,

anyone running 225/40 18x8 et40? Or 215/40 18x8 et40? or 225/35?

I went almost the entire thread. and still

I have 18x8 et40 Dare Wheels and I want (cr-z) to drop it 1" (Einbach) - but what with the tires?

I even thought about roll fenders.

Did you see this post? It's close:
225 wide tires on 18x8 alloys
@Lytsu has something close to that too (and they look great!)
