Default Wheel Help. 17X8+35

Im planning on running some
17X8+35 with 205/40 tires and can't find anything good. I contacted CCW because I want some Classics but I also wanna keep my options open. Anyone know of any good sites for wheels. I'd rather not custom order wheels but If I have to because I can't find any then it will be ok I guess

Honda tech classifieds has a great wheel section for new or used wheels that will fit our cars.

Regamasters come in 17x8 +35

Could someone explain the Offset numbers to me? I don't understand why that matters!

What is the perfect fit for our car. 17x8? I want some rims that are flush without rubbing and are not stretched (kind of hate that look).

It took me a whole to do this with my S2000 but every car is different. I'm starting all over again. Lol. From what I saw the specs I posted sit perfect. No stretch either which is what I wanted.

Offsets refer to how far out or in the tire sits on the hub. Here's a link that might help. There are others. Just search off Wheel Offset on web.

Wheel Offset Calculator

Check the wheel fitment thread for lots of sizes and pictures.

Our stock wheels are 16x6 +45 so just add ur width difference and the offset millimeters (lower number is more "flush") to figure it out.

17x8 +35 requires slight stretch, like a 205/40 only if youre lowered a good amount, otherwise 215 or 225 is fine and an even fit.

What do you mean by "stretch"? Is this something a shop has to do?

Stretch meaning tires not as wide as the wheels, so they appear to be "stretched" on.

Do a google image search and youll get it.
