+1

But sorry OP, the good brands Koala listed are mostly out of your budget. SSR (lightest wheels I've seen) is one of them.

Enkei is probably the most affordable on the good list.

+1 for buying real wheels previously owned, they can be well within your budget. Just make sure they arent bent or broken before you buy, and only buy from someone reputable that will accept a return if you find a problem with the wheels.

search the classifieds over at honda-tech

Thank you all so much for your time. I'll take your advice and get used ssr, Volk, or work.

Thank you again, I'd so wish we had a master list of all this! Could be good for newbs. By the way, I love my crz, any links you all have for tuning, I'll surely check out.

The size/offset you want will also affect your price.
There are a set of 18x7.5" Work Meister S1's that are local, but within your range, including tires. She might be able to ship and still come within your budget:

Good luck, however you decide

With a budget of 1500, that's just for wheels without tires, right? From what you've seen what styles of wheels do you like?

I think it's worth the extra effort to look for a good brand name wheel used on other forums. You'd be surprised with what you can find. It also broadens your choices all in one spot instead of searching for one kind.

If you're looking for inspiration, ideas and a quite massive list of parts available, (and or you just LOVE the CR-Z) then this book is totally worth owning:

Hyper Rev Honda CR-Z Tuning Book finally released!

It's got Japanese Tuners and parts maker's CR-Z builds, as well as random CR-Z info (in Japanese) and the back half is all aftermarket parts, from engine/exhaust performance, suspension, brakes, interior/exterior, wheels etc, and best of all, lots of photos throughout the book.

You can also ask one of our resident wheel whores if they have anything that they're bored of.

These look nice, minimalist, don't like the white center and I hear tsw sucks.
