Our slim digital ballasts have a chip inside the ballast that regulates the electrical current to the HID bulbs to keep it stable to prolong the life of the bulb. It also features a reverse polarity protection as well as shock resistant ballast.

HIDs provide up to 3 times greater visibility, produce less heat, and last much longer than standard incandescent bulbs. This is a great safety investment for those who want to be able to see more at night.

Hi, I'm the one that stopped by the store yesterday and bought the HID fog light kit. I think I remember you saying they were 6000k. If I bought the 6000k bulb for the head lights, would that be an exact match in color?

Hey, thanks for coming in.

Yes, if you purchased the 6000k D4S bulbs, they should be a very close match. Remember though, since you have projectors inside the head light, the cut-off point of the projectors will make it more blue and white, but the overall light will be a very close match.

I have 8000K in both fogs and head light. The colors won't match perfectly due to the lenses being different, and the cut-off that iJDMTOY mentions. It will be very close though, and from directly in front of the car they will look the same.

I'm switching my fogs to 3000K bulbs soon though, as they will be less obvious that they are HIDs, as it's illegal with HID fog lights. For head lights 6000K will be the best for visibility, even though 8000K looks cool
