Default Comparing stock MT shift knob with '06+ Civic SI Type R Shift knob

Hello forum,
Here's a few pictures comparing the stock shift knob with the '06+ Civic Type R shift knob (Part #54102-SMT-E01 - thanks Bertholf5683)

To Sum it up, it is about 30-50% heavier than the stock but slightly smaller in diameter. I think it gives it a nice look to the interior.

looks nice, but ive gotten use to the black/blue theme and would prefer that nob in blue instead of red (wonder if someone makes one).

You know, now you mention it you're right the red does stick out. But I'm pretty content with it as is. I'm pretty sure you can strip the red paint and repaint it with blue instead. I might consider doing just that in the near future.
