Default Clutch Shutter?

Hey Dudes and Dudettes, check it out. My CR-Z has about 7000 miles now and I started to feel a shutter in the trans, as I let off the clutch. Doesn't do it all the time, it happens when I'm at a complete stop. The light turns green and I let off the clutch and it shutters and wants to stall. I double clutch and reshift and it's fine. Almost feels like your starting out in 2nd gear but I'm in 1st. Anyone had this happen?

Is your battery charged up or empty! If you are doing mostly short runs, it is easy to drain the battery and that is how the car feels when there is no IMA assist at take off.

Ive felt this before. Its almost like the clutch is grabbing intermittently as you are starting from a stop. This isnt an IMA issue. Its an actual transmission issue. Take it to honda.

My 8th gen had this NEW (granted the car was a huge unlucky lemon) and it shouldnt be there.

ok I dont know if this is the same problem your having, as your original post somehow I am not grasping exactly whats going on, but for me and especially in morning I have been experiencing when I am going letting off the clutch it tends to stall more and I am giving it gas, Ive always assumed that the reaction time of the throttle is slower in morning and that I am letting up clutch faster than the reaction time of the throttle which constantly has me to press clutch back in and redo it a lil slower...I had noticed this only in mornings, so another reason is me still waking up and dead tired, as afternoons its high 90's and mornings tend to be 70's and I doubt that was cold enough for it affect anything...if its related somehow cool, if not than I guess ignore this.

What ive experienced, its sort of like the engine is struggling, but you still can have high revs. It almost feels like really really really faint wheel hop until you get going.

The cvt does that after autostop if u don't let it get to 1000rpm before going. Its about a 5sec pause needed after the engine starts back up. Not sure if it's similar but might be something to pay attention to.

Changing between drive modes sometimes cause clutch judder, but in my case it's due to the completely different clutch let out / throttle in combinations demanded for smooth driving in each the three-different driving modes. VSA engagment is a possible culprit.

Do you guy's think I should bring it back to the dealer to look at? I'm afraid they might make it worse.

^ If it is a new development under your normal driving style/conditions - sounds like something I would probably take it in for. Especially if it easily replicable.
