Nice post for those inexperienced outside of the automatic world. The ultimate tiptronic shifting though is in the F1 cars

I had just test drove a CR-Z w/ CVT and the paddle shifters were e-z to use, i was really impressed with the car overall, i think anybody who has played playstaion -gran turismo or xbox -need for speed ...can get the idea when using the paddle shifters in the CR-Z.

Sport Mode is great once you get in sinc with the power delivery. I can really feel a performance shift when you learn what the car likes for revs. Although I really love the 6 speed the wife hates them so I got the auto. I have 5k miles on it and have figured it out.

Very fun to drive.
