After spending some time with my 6-speed MT, I have to say that the only car I've ever driven that has a nicer transmission/clutch combo is a Porsche 911.

On my first day driving to work I was stuck in 30 minutes of stop and go, and loved the manual.

I wanted the 6-speed but my wife reminded me how much I hate driving a stick in heavy traffic and my last 5 cars where sticks... So I got the CVT..... happy with the fuel economy and power actually.

I'm gonna pick me up a CVT, I test drove one today and it was pretty awesome... also I can't drive stick anymore, I damaged my shoulder a few years back and that was the end of my stick driving days.

Manual Transmission, All they way as well. My father told me if you drive an Automatic then you don't really know how to try a car, but he told me if I drive stick I'll be more respected. That is true. Maybe because I'm a girl, I've had alot of comments and driving really good stick and smooth. It's all practice if you don't know how too. And it's never late to start

I drove manual cars since i started driving, but a few years ago i tore up my left ankle pretty bad. Needless to say 7 surgeries and now pins and plates in the ankle means no more manual for me, hurts too much after a while

I was in an accident that put me in a coma and it really messed with my nervous system. Getting back in the swing of driving was enough, and I was struggling with shifting and driving for the first time in a year since the accident. So my family asked that I get the CVT and I figured the paddle shifters on the steering wheel were compromise enough.

Though when the Si or whatever comes out, I'd like to give it a try again and maybe trade.

My car came with the CVT. Sadly, I miss the stick.. I leave my hand on the CVT shifter to feel the nostalgia... It gets really boring after five minutes of driving.
