I'm just curious, for the people with the 6MT do you keep it in gear or in neutral when you park ?

Put it in park and leave it in neutral. I was never taught the leave it in first thing and never developed the habit unless I am on a hill.

no CR-Z yet... but since i live in South Florida i don't have issues with hills... it's pretty flat everywhere around here... so i just leave any manual car i drive in neutral with the parking brake on...

this habit developed when i had my 98 Civic Hatch and i had remote start on it... i had to make sure remote started it b4 i got out which left the car running and as soon as i armed the car it shut off... that let the remote start system know that the car was in neutral and it was safe to start it again...
