More detailed commentary later (I need to get out the door for something really quickly), but here are the highlights:

1) 16 cars showed up. 15 made it to the line up at the snake. Not sure where we lost one of the yellow S2000s (I think he had to leave early), but he isn't in my walk of the cars at the Snake.

2) Bad news: I managed to get a speeding ticket; Good news: everyone did exactly what I told them to do in the safety nazi speech in just such a situation.

3) Nathan (in his Lotus Elise) drove with us and that was a great addition to our line up.

4) CR-Zs were in full swing today!

5) We had out of town guests come by and that was great to meet new folks.

6) Jay Leno was at the overlook riding a turbine motorcycle that was just too cool for words.

7) No deer, suicidal squirrels, or horse manure were hit during the entire drive. Yes, I have to add horse manure to the list of "debris" one has to watch out for when I give the safety nazi speech.

8 ) Despite valiant attempts to the contrary, no S2000 drivers managed to get run over by any bicyclists at the overlook. (god I wish I had that on video!)

9) I don't know what nine is, but I had to have a nine so we could make this list an even 10. Someone will make up a suitable item to fill into 9 for me.

10) Great fun was had by all!

It was great to see you again Murphy and Alan, and meeting Lady_CRZ her friend and Sang! Really stinks about that ticket. However it was still a really fun day and a beautiful drive.

Keep em all shiny-side-up.

9# s2k ppl are rly nice and not scary lol xD plus s2k sound sexy compared to our ninja quiet z ^_^;;

Crz don't be scared to come to the canyon run ^__^ s2k don't bite

It was nice to meet u to koala yummy lol ohh was eco_shark with me not sang he couldn't make it but hopefully next run his Crz is slammed !!! But it looks good lol

Just a reminder. Please don't do this.

Later that day, I nearly got wiped out by a understeering MINI Cooper crossing the double yellow. If I didn't have enough front grip to dodge it, there would be a head to head crash.
