User Name/Password

Hey all. Just a quick note regarding, in particular, the password. I could be 110% in the wrong here and just missed something, but I wanted to throw this out there in the event that others are having an issue.

So here is the scenerio, I joined about a week or so ago, posted a few things and then went on a trip. When I came back this week I wanted to get back into the groove and see what was going on, but for some reason couldn't get back in. I knew my User Name and Password were correct (wrote it down, I know, horrible security practice), but still no success. I did the reset password thing, changed the password to the one I'd had and then was off and running. Later that day, the same scenerio happend again. Did the password reset and was off and running.....since then it's happend three more times and I finally noticed something. When you reset your password the fields allow you to have a, for example, an 11 character password so I was resetting using my typical (6Monkeysthe - just an example) password, but when I'd log out and go back in and use the standard password field, it only allowed for 10 characters so the "e", in this example, wasn't registering.

I may have missed somewhere where it stated that you can only have a 10 digit password and if so, my bad, but if not I just wanted others to not have to figure it out.

didn't know that. my usual password is 11chars long but for this site i went for something smaller so never got that issue.

Yup, went with a short-n-sweet password myself.
