How about adding another section where people can add threads where they have seen another CR-Z on their travels!
Maybe something like..

Red CR-Z seen on M25 near Bluewater about 4pm today. Number plate AB10...
nice car mate, was it you?

Then if it's a forum member they can say if it's them or not. This used to work quite well on a previous forum I used to frequent when I had a Civic type R.
