Audio advertisement ? - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

What's up with all the audio advertisement lately? I just got 3 in a row and find it extremely annoying. I understand that you need the advertisement to pay for the servers but can't you find a better way? This is the first forum that I've been on that uses flash audio advertisement that plays without asking permission.

It should be less in our face and more on the side view.

Do you know specifically what ad is playing it? No audio advertisements should be playing. Let me know and I will look into it. Thanks.

Silly me for not taking note of what advertisement were playing. I was too busy looking for the mute link on the advertisement and wasn't paying attention. It might be some cleaning supply advertisement but i can't remember clearly nowadays. :/

I will keep an open ear next time if it occurs again.

+1 but I also didn't take note of who it was. And on my iPad it doesn't work so I don't notice. But was pretty annoying when I was at my desktop.

I know the feeling of trying to find that mute button! Suspect it is just an ad or two that isn't getting filtered properly.

I have another complaint, take off the Hyundai Genesis Coupe advertisement. This is a Honda forum!

I do laugh when I see ads from other car makers. Not sure they're getting a lot of bang for their buck here.

what's an Ad? i don't see any

using Firefox i downloaded an add-on called AdBlockPlus. Never see any ads ever again. even on Youtube when it interrupts your video to give you a 15sec ad, no longer does that.

i recommend it.

I never get any audio ads..

+1 for the other car brands. I get BMW ones constantly.

Though, props for what you are using for your ad service- I looked at two websites and the next time I refresh CRZ-F both at the top were very related to where I just was.
