I got that the other day... I wonder if it's tied into the ads...

I sent one of my friends a link to check out some photos, and they told me that he had to run a virus scan on his computer. I would not be surprised if the ads were an attack vector. I've seen it before.

I can't say I'm having an issue, though, because I use Linux.

i've seen it, and everyone dismissed it in a previous post, so i thought it was just my computer.

however, if other people are seeing it, then it is confirming my suspicion that this site has been compromised with a sql injection or some other method of putting malware in.

I'm not seeing it.. I keep some DoD products AV/Host Based Intrusion Detection Systems on my home network along with a SNORT IDS..

I'll pass this thread along to the Pri Sysadmin. But, details from you guys are important when trying to isolate a potential problem, especially if possibly related to a third party add..

Some basic key information would be;
When did it happen the first time?
How often does it happen?
Did you notice a specific third party add displaying at the time?
What AV product and version are you using?
What browser are you using?
What was the exact message you were provided by your AV alert?

This would greatly assist in performing forensics and isolation of any potential activity.

I'm a CISSP Cyber Security Branch Head in my day job.
Manage a group of CEH's, Firewall/IDS admins and such. No stranger to malicious activity..
