i want to present you my little track runner. It's a plain stock CR-Z Sport (EU Model) colored in Dark Pewter Metallic. ![]() ![]() ![]() First video is with the stock car, second one with the shopping list below: The car runs very smooth and fast around those corners and even though it is plain stock it makes excellent times. I love how the car looks right now so all my money went into performance modifications. Order list for now: - K&N Typhoon Intake - Spoon rigid collar kit - KW coilovers - 7x17 OZ Alleggerita HLT Alloys - 215/40 Hankook Evo S1 XL Tires Plans for next year: - Recaro Sportster CS seats - 4-point belts - carbon hood - remove rear seats - replace complete exhaust system (not sure which one) Everything but the rigid collar kit will be installed next week and put to the test on september 3rd and 4th for the next slalom ![]() I'll be putting up new pics and videos then. |

Nice! Looks like you plan on upgrading where it counts on this car. I would love if you did a write up on the KW coils when you install them. I am considering them myself. I was originally going to buy ksport coils, but after reading horror stories about bad quality I decided to wait and see. Too bad KW only makes v1 for the CR-Z though. I really wanted v2 or v3.

All installations were successful and i made some new pics.
unfortunately i don't have a better background setting yet so our backyard has to suffice ![]() ![]() ![]() The car has been nano-sealed the day after i bought it in june: ![]() ![]() I've only made one trip (about 100 miles) with the KW coilovers but my experience so far is really great. They are harder for sure but not so much that you're ass hurts, but you can certainly feel the difference in handling especially in fast turns. I'd say they're very good coilovers for the money, too bad they only made a v1. |
