![]() Anyways I paid 159 with a 3 year warranty no idea what kind of tint I got either...Now my question is it already has tons of little tiny bubbles mostly on the back window. Now do they eventually go away or am I gonna have to take it back and get them to fix it, or is there anything I can do. I really don't wanna go back and be that guy and say hey fix this you did a crappy job or anything but here are some pics you cant see them unless you get real close...What are your thoughts? |

Wait a few days. The bubbles should settle down and disappear. I did tints on some cars before and that's how it was for me. If they don't disappear then take it back in. They should have cleaned the windows fairly well but sometimes small bubbles still remain.
Don't be afraid to go back in. It's their job to do the tints and you have the warranty. |

Those city sticker on your windshield are very distracting but car looks clean and slick looking. Also, should have taken the picture at a lower angle to get rid of the road due to the fact I thought it was dirty then realized it was the road xD. The tints are nice and dark and good that they did the arch in the front but without going below the line in the center. Mine passes the line on the sides but I haven't gotten in trouble so I be good ^.^

Did my tint yesterday. Left the car in the sun and that cleared up most ripples and tiny bubbles as it dried and cured the glue. Only one tiny bubble with fluid under it. Not wanting to take it back, used a tiny needle to leave a tiny pinhole to allow the bubble to bleed out. Pushed it closed. Now I can't tell where the hold was.

The little bubbles will normally go away within a week to 2 weeks. They tell you not to roll your windows down for a few days, normally 3 or 4 to help let it cure as well. I would not worry about them unless they don't go away after a couple of weeks. Than don't be afraid to take it back in.
Exertus- it is not a good idea to pop the bubbles with a pin. They should go away in time (like I said a week or 2). When you pop them with a pin it makes a small hole in the tint which over time will peal away from that hole causing a larger, more noticeable hole. However, if they used REALLY REALLY good tint like they do around here, it is somewhat self repairing with heat, so it may have patched itself. But I still do not recommend it. Now on vinyl decals and what not, no big deal. 95% of vinyl is self repairing with heat, and a heat gun helps that process

They told me just to wait 3 days, but it hasn't been that hot here lately in PA(rain past two days) so I wont be rolling down the windows probably all week just to be safe...But I just checked the car being over a day since I got it tinted, the back window still looks like there has been no improvement still a great deal of bubbles and a few on the side, as far as the driver and passenger windows they turned out the best with hardly any at all. So hopefully after a week I will notice some kind of improvement. I'm crossing my fingers because I really don't wanna drive back out there.

It sure does look good
I need to get mine done, soon! Those tiny little bubble will go away in time. If they're close to the edge, you can take a credit card with a shirt, or soft rag over it, and try to lightly push the bubbles to the edge. Little bubbles will disappear in time, it's the large ones you'll have to worry about (large meaning: Quarter+ sized). *edit Did it make it difficult to see out of the hatch with the glass darker?

Kinda sketch that they didnt tell you any other info after tinting other than don't lower you windows for a couple of days.
I usually let the tint "cure" for a week; just to be on the safe side. a way to dry up the rear faster is to turn on the rear defrosters, but other than that you would have to wait till all the bubbles have dried and disappeared... |

Don't roll down windows for several days depending on temp - use the rear defrost etc.. But I have never experienced bubbles out the door on my last two tints with the latest and greatest.. And yea - if I did - I don't think I would use a needle to puncture it.. Would take it back in and have them fix it if it persisted... |
