Default sunroof installed & fin antenna swapped

So when I first saw the car I loved everything about it. Except the fin antenna. Naturally this didnt stop me from buying one - I figured I could replace/remove it later. As I owned the car the fin began to grow on me. In fact, I really *really* started to like it.

Then I got a sunroof installed, and due to the fins height, the topslider couldnt open all the way. So I ordered a 2012 Civic antenna and had them swap it out. It was not plug-n-play, they had to splice the wires, but all works fine. I got the new antenna in black, below are pics:

It reduces rigidity in the body, but unless you track it everyday, it most likely won't be a problem. Though in the future you do have to worry about leaks.

As with any moon/sun roof including the factory options..

I am kinda liking the removal of the fin.. Good job and thanks for sharing...

Get everything sealed between the Civic antenna and roof?
