Yeah, like the hood!!! They design some parts to have crush points, meant to fold or crush to protect people in an accident.

what a terrible design on this car on that respect,yes I have dealt with at least passenger bag/dash.
Did you seatbelts lock too? if so there is a place that rebuilds them for 65 each and they have quick turnaround.
the airbags you can get on car-part.com.

Get a NEW from dealer airbag SRS unit. Never trust a junkyard srs unit. airbags, yes, ok,, not the controller.
what did you hit? looks minimal to me, the kind not reported on carfax, the kind that end up on dealer lots by the dozens, as used certified, and no reports of damage....yours fits that bill. did you hit a bird/bug lol?

Insurance on these CR-Z's is going to stay sky high for years with all the damage reports to the insurance comps.

Does anyone else remember the 10mph bumper tests on the older ones that DID no damage? now a 10mph causes like 3g in damage.lol engineering at it's worst.
