Based on living in California for most of my life I'm not sure what the weather will be like up in that area. based on This Thread do you think i'll need all season tires?

I have a little Sx4 AWD I use when it snows or is icy. CR-Z with 17" tires is parked. If the CR-Z is a primary car - will want to have all season tires and maybe even put snow tires on it. Terrain here is hilly - your almost always going up a hill or down one.
