Default JPAC Arrival Ceremony

On Friday I attended a Joint POW / MIA Arrival Ceremony at Hickam AFB in Honolulu. They returned the remains of 6 Americans from WWII and Vietnam for identification at the Central Identification Lab. I wanted to share a video from the short ceremony.

Thanks for watching! it's difficult to make something like this "action-packed" for video but it's important nonetheless. I am hoping that I'll be able to get a tour of the Central Identification Laboratory one day.

It has nothing to do with action. It has everything to do with honoring those who are willing and have given their lives for the people of this world with expecting no reward for their service. To me there IS NO greater honor nor do I give any higher respect than to those who serve.

I know, but it's just that these days, people have the attention span of a goldfish and sometimes something really important like this could be missed because some don't understand the significance.

They talk about that place in an Episode of the new Hawaii Five-O series and you kind of get to see what they do although I'm sure it was just staged that way for TV. still cool do hear about what they are doing.

Season 2 Episode 4. for those who wanna see it.

If I remember correctly, it was mostly accurate, but for the Hollywood lighting. They promised me an opportunity to see the lab next time they've got a tour going.

I agree and that is so sad.
